Decorative Alphabet Letter W.ebsAwards Management hereby declares on behalf all personnel who may be contracted at any time to work for WebsAwards, that we agree to advance and promote our Code of Ethics to ensure fairness to Applicants, Members and Staff and will maintain the honor and integrity of all.

  • We agree that all assessments undertaken will be constructive in nature as positive comment is productive.
  • We will refrain from criticism unless specifically requested by an applicant and in such instances, will remain positive where possible in an effort to promote goodwill and advance the level of quality among Award Programs.
  • We agree to allow eligibility to all applicants who meet the SET ( posted online, written = set ) criteria displayed within WebsAwards.
  • We agree to be uniform in our eligibility requirements ( Criteria ) and will fairly assess all Award Programs meeting our criteria which are submitted by any applicant. We further agree to clearly post these criteria.
  • We agree to apply our Amnesty provisions to WebsAwards rated Award Programs only - this meaning that any Award Program owner having other Award Programs currently rated with WebsAwards who creates a new Award Program cannot have an Amnesty applied to the new Award Program until after it has been initially rated with WebsAwards.
  • We agree to set forth our criteria and to adhere to same.
  • Proposed time frames for changes will be posted for two ( 2 ) weeks prior to the final publishing of same with notices posted on site so all potential applicants and members may view and understand the potential changes.
  • We agree to assess Award Programs under the criteria which was in place at the time of any and / or all applications. If changes are made to criteria after applications are received, the submitting Award Programs will be assessed using the criteria that was in effect when applicants initially submitted the web sites.
  • We agree to immediately inform any criteria compliant applicant in writing, of a 'Refrain to Assess' if it is found that a conflict of interest would occur in our staff carrying out a assessment of their Award Program - e.g. this may occur upon being requested to evaluate the Award Program of a good friend. Under such circumstances, we will provide the services of our WebsAwards Conflict of Interest Rating Assessor.
  • We agree not to discriminate on grounds of race, gender, nation of origin, religion, profession, age, mental or physical handicap, or any other reason which is not globally viewed as an illegal trait or manner of conduct.
  • We agree that we will not issue rating badges to or in any other manner endorse or promote any Award Program that is attached, affiliated and / or aligned with any web site displaying any of the following items:
    1. The endorsement and / or promotion of any form of discrimination, abuse and / or humiliation of humans and / or wildlife.
    2. Is unfit for viewing by young children aged 13 years and under excluding web sites with quality art content. * * * ( Read how we assess quality art content. ) These are usually web sites that display death, blood, violence, nudity of an unacceptable type and bad language of any kind.
    3. The promotion, endorsement and / or provision of illegal and / or potentially illegal activities - copyright infringements, warez, porn images and / or content, incitement to illegal activity, violence and / or discrimination, abuse, pyramid and / or down line schemes, scams etc and / or are linking openly, directly and / or surreptitiously to such content or using the web sites as doorways to unsuitable and / or accepted illegal material and / or illegal practices as may be proven under Australian, New Zealand and / or International Law.
    4. The posting of hate messages and or defamatory remarks toward other sites, individuals or groups of any kind.

  • We agree to maintain a professional, friendly and positive manner in any and / or all correspondence and/or communication held with any Applicant/s.
  • We agree to assess all submitted Award Programs within four ( 4 ) weeks of receipt of application excluding the period covering three calendar months after the official opening of WebsAwards. If our deadlines cannot be met, we agree to suspend assessments until we can again work within our timeframe.
  • We agree not to divulge personal information about applicants, members or staff to persons, groups, or agencies not directly connected to WebsAwards and only then for the sole purpose of Award Program assessments, applications and notification of achievements. All information received from applicants via e-mail applications or application forms will be deemed private.
  • We agree to encourage and promote the use of original material for Award Programs criteria and overall evaluation processes. We agree to assist any person requesting advice concerning ethical evaluation for the disbursement of awards. * * * Please note: The Award Program assessment processes in use at WebsAwards are copyright and written authorization is required for use of any items.
  • We agree to maintain any owned individual web sites that include Award Programs to a standard that meets the criteria of the awards given. In the case of any awards offered that are outside the main subject of our web sites any and / or all such web sites will be maintained to a high standard of integrity in all their main areas.
  • We agree to maximum dimensions of rating and membership badges given in courtesy of web sites that will use them. If the maximum dimensions cannot be adhered to then a text only link will be permitted for graphics larger than maximum size. ( Maximum size dimensions offered from this web site will be no more than *130* pixels height and *160* pixels width. )
  • We agree that there will be only two obligations for being a member of and rated with WebsAwards in that Award Programs must meet our criteria requirements and uphold our WebsAwards Code of Ethics.
  • It is not and never will be mandatory at this web site to sign a guest book or to join a mailing list.
  • It is a requirement that any rating badge granted from WebsAwards must be linked back to this web site in a method that will be outlined in assessment notification e-mails.
  • We agree that we will not accept favors of any sort from members / potential members in exchange for preferential treatment during assessments and that we will, at all times, maintain a high standard of honesty and integrity.
  • We agree that we will take all measures necessary to maintain the honor and integrity of WebsAwards, staff, membership and applicants.
